Not to toot the ol' office horn or what not but even I was floored by the new April cover and shoot for Dazed & Confused - photographed by Josh Olins and styled by Nicola Formichetti featuring the ethereal Lakshmi in a bit of Dolce & Gabanna (ok, the circular sleeves have momentarily been sold on me...). I'll have to check out the full list of credits but I'm sure there'll be a plethora of established and up and coming names for the mass of jewellery that has been used to embellish Lakshmi. Despite the fact that, if I had on that amount of jewellery, my skin would combust into pus-filled welts and blotches, I still love the idea of excessiveness in accessories, feeling plenty of weight in metalwear; Haider Ackermann and Lanvin A/W 09 are both key to my current desire to be moving slowly, with a lot of metal hanging off of me.
