On Ponystep this morning, I got a pleasant Michelle Jank surprise. Sadly not another necklace (Jank, I officially hold your necklace responsible for people oggling my chest and it ain't because I've got any interestin' goods going on in that department...) Ponystep has started doing editorials in addition to articles and interviews and Jank has styled this shoot with photographer Paul Scala.
Garbage bag fashion isn't a new concept of course but I do believe this is one of the finest photographed examples I've seen in a while. It might have something to do with the Marnie Skillings garments and Elke Kramer (my Aussie radar is still switched on through Kat's regular emails...) being worked into the styling as well that harnesses those plastic sacks into something that I might almost kid myself into thinking I too could wear... thought banished pronto.
