Like Finsk or Nicholas Kirkwood, it seems the shoe newbies are keen to establish their signature heel that they can then build upon. Omelle has their rounded wooden fin shaped heel with a metal top which is a cross between something sturdy and delicate. The designs for A/W 09-10 are more robust than their architectural S/S 09 shoes with many a bootie option and I particularly like that they used a button string tie envelope closure as a motif... they're the most satisfying envelopes to open afterall...
